Real output from the editor — drag to compare.
Text photographed in the real world carries the scene with it: a storefront sign has perspective from the camera angle, paint texture, and the same sunlight as the wall it hangs on. Replacing that text convincingly means the new words must inherit every one of those properties, which is why pasting flat type over a photo never fools anyone.
Tell this tool what the existing text says and what it should say instead. The AI locates the original, analyzes its typography (letterforms, weight, color, spacing) and its physical situation (surface, perspective, lighting, wear), then removes the old wording and renders the new text with all of it matched. A weathered sign stays weathered; neon stays neon; a chalkboard menu keeps its chalk.
It is invaluable for localizing marketing imagery, correcting typos discovered after the shoot, updating dates and prices in campaign photos, and personalizing images (a birthday banner with the right name). Quoting the original text exactly, including capitalization, is the key to a clean match; the tool targets precisely the string you give it.

Frequently asked questions
Will the new text match the original font?
The AI reproduces the original's letterform style, weight, color, and spacing, along with its perspective and lighting on the surface. On decorative or hand-painted lettering the match is stylistic rather than glyph-perfect, and usually indistinguishable in context.
What if the new text is longer or shorter than the old?
Spacing and sizing are adjusted so the new wording sits naturally in the same area. Wildly different lengths (one word replaced by a paragraph) will force visible size changes, so keep replacements roughly comparable.
How do I target one piece of text when the image has several?
Quote the exact string you want changed; the AI matches it against the text it finds. Distinctive quoting ('OPEN 24 HOURS', not just 'OPEN') prevents ambiguity when similar words appear twice.
Can I use it on documents or IDs?
No. The tool is for creative and marketing imagery: signs, banners, labels, and graphics you have the right to edit. Altering documents, IDs, or records to falsify facts is misuse and prohibited.
Can I try AI Change Text for free?
Yes — every new account starts with 4 free credits, enough to run this tool once at Standard quality. No credit card required.
